LARGE ANTIQUE 19TH C FRENCH NEEDLEPOINT TAPESTRY PILLOW WOMAN CLARINET 30 X 18. This is a wonderful hand stitched French needlepoint woolwork tapestry of woman playing the clarinet on a "bazarro" background (which is a very French style). The needlepoint is in excellent condition because originally it was a large wallhanging.

I have cut it up to make several pillows. That being said, it wasn't sat on so it's in very good condition.

The needlepoint alone measures 11" x 23". There are no missed stitches, holes, stains, etc. The colors are mostly red and brown.

On the sides of the needlepoint there's a tassel and beaded trim. The front is red velvet and the back is a red and brown vintage chenille from Corregio. The pillow is finished with a bullion and beaded trim on the sides and a cord on the top and bottom. The finished pillow measures 30 x 18 with the insert. I used a king size feather and down bed pillow as an insert. The entire pillow is lined for extra durability. There is a zipper closure for your convenience. This one of a kind pillow looks great in any decor and will give your home that unique touch of your personality. It is in excellent newly created condition and was designed to last for many generations. It comes from a smoke free environment.
