French Antique Wall Holy Water Font Wooden Gilt Bronze Frame Christ Cross 19thC. A beautiful wooden and gilt bronze holy water font. It has a lovely design and a beautiful gilt bronze frame, with a crystal cut glass font. The wood is probably rosewood. The the figure of Christ and INRI plaque are made of gilt bronze and the figure is signed by the artist'Hardy'.

It can be hung on the wall with the integrated hook on the back. Beautiful quality piece that is quite large. Height: about 11 inch / 28 cm.

Width: about 6 1/2 inch / 16.5 cm. Good antique condition, some very minimal patina and wear to the gilding, some tiny fleabites to the crystal glass font, see the photos.
