Antique 19thc French Floral Pheasant Bird Toile Cotton Fabric Unique Black
Absolutely gorgeous antique 19thc French cotton in a marvelous floral pheasant bird and architectural statuary/garden elements. A most beautiful black on a soft slightly off white. The printing looks copper roller printed.
A slightly larger scale and mid density cotton, aprox latter 19thc time period. Looks stunning in interiors, even simply draped or hung ornamental as I noticed while I played with this a bit. Perfect for an abundance of interior projects as well as clothing elements, slip covers etc. A perfect ambiance in country house period interiors.
Intermixes beautifully with an abundance of other colors and patterns with it's monochromatic look. Condition is very nice on this. I noted one area of aged patina to the very upper portion on this long panel which may wash or simply leave as it just gives it more character. Ive done nothing to this though appears very good. It will come unwashed with just a hint of patina which is lovely on this, though these wash very well if preferred. Measures 33 wide by 1 yard long I can keep your length selected uncut.
