A nice saucer made by Nast in the late 18th century. Nast was one of the top Paris area makers of this period. It is hand painted with a really nice version of the blue corn flower decoration that so many makers used during this period.
A cornflower floral garland with their leaves along the edge with single corn flowers in the center and gold sprigs near the edge of the well. Gold trim along the edge. The saucer is in good condition but does have a tight hairline to the edge of the well / near the foot ring from the underside which I tried to show from both views. It does not show when on display and looks great!
Touch of wear to the gold trim. Blue cornflowers were a favorite of Marie Antoinette and thus became very popular during this time period.
Marked underneath with their red NAST mark as shown. It is 0.75 inches tall and just over 4.5 inches in diameter.
