Antique 18thC Nast Porcelain Blue Cornflower Saucer Porzellan French France #1

  
A nice saucer made by Nast in the late 18th century. Nast was one of the top Paris area makers of this period. It is hand painted with a really nice version of the blue corn flower decoration that so many makers used during this period. A cornflower floral garland with their leaves along the edge with single corn flowers in the center and gold sprigs near the edge of the well.

Gold trim along the edge. The saucer is in good condition but does have a chip along the edge as shown from both views. A bit of wear to the gilding. Blue cornflowers were a favorite of Marie Antoinette and thus became very popular during this time period. Marked underneath with their red NAST mark as shown.
