Lots of gold trim and the handle top terminal and spout have a nice animal design to them. All in all a really nice teapot. The piece is in great condition with almost no use marks or wear.
The points on the inside of the lid that hold it in place have a little damage to them and there is a very minor chip to the inside edge of the pot that is not obvious and hidden completely when the lid is in place! There is a spot on the gilding along the top shoulder that is brighter than the rest like some sort of fluid ran over it and cleaned the patina off a touch or something protected it from forming the same patina. No idea what but it's not wear and was not polished. It's in the back when the handle is on the right side and does not affect the display.
A couple of splotches on the maroon ground. The piece is marked underneath which doesn't happen all that often.
It has their under glaze blue crossed arrows as shown. The piece is 7.125 inches tall including the handle, 7.75 inches from handle to spout and 4.75 inches in diameter.A really nice looking piece!
