An interesting double sided eggcup made of porcelain in the 18th or early 19th century I would guesstimate. Likely of French / Paris origin but could also be German or even Belgian. Definitely reminds me of Saint Cloud but it is hard paste or some sort of hybrid instead of soft paste porcelain.
Thick glaze with tiny bubbles in it and a brownish translucency. The piece has a simple relief decoration to the outside with a blue ring along both ends that ran a bit during the firing process. The egg cup is in great condition with just flaws from when it was made like tiny impurities and it not being perfectly round plus a glaze miss on the inside which has turned dark over time. Maybe someone out there has an idea on the maker. The piece is 3 inches tall and it has a diameter of about 1.75 inches.
