19thC EXQUISITE ANTIQUE FRENCH BRASS LION CACHEPOT JARDINIERE PLANTER BRONZE

  

A charming antique french brocante and antiques from 18th century until the Art Déco period that come from the Loire Valley, known for its history, wine, family property, manoir and castles. But not only, we travel all around France to truffle the best antiques. Late 1800s French brass cache pot jardiniere with an exceptional all over repousse design. The brass has taken a warm patina throughout the time. It stands on four lion's paw feet in high relief.

Each side of the planter is ornated with a superb highly detailed lion's head with a large mane and a large ring interlaced in his mouth. The planter is embellished with embossed scrolled flourish decor of flowers and leaves. This would be perfect as a centerpiece for your elegant table, entrace console or living salon table. Fill with boxwood, tulips or any of your favorite flowers for chic French touch par excellence!

No holes, does not leak. This listing is for the jardiniere only, the boxwood is from my private collection, thank you. Measurements : 35cm/13.77" length, 23cm/9" large and 15cm/ 5.9 height.
